...these threads weave together...

Holding space for caregivers as they move through hard seasons.

Grounding educators in embodied, nervous-system–informed practice.

Listening with the body, supporting nervous system regulation.

Weaving connection, reflection, and belonging.

...stay connected...

I occasionally share reflections and updates from my work as The Winding Weaver — across body, home, community, and school threads.

These emails are sent sparingly and with care.

...about..

I think of myself as a winding weaver.
Life isn’t straight — and neither are we.

We move in curves, carrying smiles and scars, braiding interests together over time.

I was born into a world rich in handmade fibres, homegrown food, and stories, and have carried a love for nourishing, interwoven threads ever since. Over time, that love has become a practice of weaving things together — threads, experiences, bodies, and lives — creating meaning, connection, and wholeness.

I returned to the coast in 2010 as a Waldorf educator, expecting to continue an active, mountain-filled life. Instead, my body asked me to slow down. Pain became a teacher, inviting me to listen more closely and learn from within. That turning point led me into deeper study of the nervous system, trauma, and ultimately Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy — a practice that continues to shape both my personal healing and my professional work.

Becoming a parent added a powerful and tender new thread to this work. Parenting neurodivergent children has profoundly refined how I understand regulation, sensitivity, and relationship. Supporting my children has required me to attune more deeply — to my own nervous system as much as theirs — and has grounded my belief that safety is felt, not instructed. Much of what I offer has been learned through lived experience: slowing down, listening, and allowing connection to lead.

This way of moving shapes how I work — with patience, curiosity, and respect for the many ways bodies, families, and communities unfold.

I am located in the Sea to Sky Corridor, where I have been growing roots — in place, practice, and relationship — in the unceded and traditional territory of the Sḵwxwú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) since 2010.
